Keith Peter Thomas Francis John Duffy is an Irish singer, songwriter, actor, radio and television anchor and drummer who began his specialised music occupation as part of Irish boy band Boyzone together with Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately in 1993. The band decided to concentrate on solo plans in 2000 since which Duffy has attained great praise for his acting roles, mainly in soap plays such as Coronation Street and Fair City. it was publicised that Boyzone would reappear with their “Back Again… No Matter What” Tour which traded over 200,000 tickets in three hours in May 2008. The tour started on 25 May 2008 at Belfast’s Odyssey arena and ended at Carlisle Bitts Park on 23 August 2008. Duffy went on to play the as James “Ringo” Leyden in 2008 in the Irish soap opera Fair City, with his appeal leaving the show in 2009. Boyzone then played their “Better” Tour, which was the last tour to feature member Stephen Gately. Duffy represented as pall-bearer at Gately’s funeral on 16 October. Talking after Gately’s death, Duffy recalled on the early days: ” he said that he was a true massive of a man”.


He has also presented The Box and You’re a Star. He self-confessed his dissatisfaction that One Direction were already “much, much bigger” than Boyzone. Duffy was the champ on the British realism series The Door in 2010 and third in the second series of Splash. Duffy played appeal Teddy Heelin in John B. Keane’s play Big Maggie which go to many theatres in Ireland. Boyzone fellow Shane Lynch said in a talk on ITV show Loose Women that Boyzone would be releasing a new album and would be exploring in 2013, the 20th centenary of their formation. In November 2013, he seemed as a drug trade fitness coach in two events of Irish crime drama Love/Hate.
